Leash Training Dogs

Leash training dogs are the most difficult to have. This can be simple if you’re only playing fetch with your dog on your room or at the back of your house. But how about if you go out, jog around the neighborhood or strolling along the street. Other animals or other things that your dog might encounter during the trip can be a big threat to them. That is why it‘s better to know how to train your dog to walk on dog training leashes. There is a lot of dog training equipment that you can use. One is incorporating an E collar during the training which makes them to discipline themselves but here is the better way to do it.

Learn to be patient with these four legged animals. It can take weeks or months before they bow down on your command. These might be long but effective. So never force your dog to wear the dog training collars or dog training harness that easily or they will repel to it forever. Now start putting the collar/ harness on your dog when they are in there good moods like while they are relaxed. Make these collar loose enough on there neck and let the leash hang freely around there side. This will let them think that these things may be associated as safe things. Then after several days you can hold the leash and try some short walk with them around the house or your backyard. Put down the leash several times and put it back on your hands and do it repeatedly until they get used to the leash. Do not forget to praise them and give them treats if they do well or take your command. After several exercises with the leash on small walks or if they stop pulling you outside the door, then try walking outside on more unfamiliar places. If they try to pull forward go to another direction which will make your dog follow you in a hurry and catch up with you or you can try to stand still in a minute or so. Let them do the pushing until they realize that they are not going anywhere.  Repeat this exercise until they manage to discipline themselves.

Do this moderately; after all, Patience is a virtue.
